has been making a lot of noise about developing electric motorcycles as it searches for a fresh breath of life, and its future all seems to hinge on the success of the upcoming . The good news is the production version looks just as good as the concept. The bad news is they didn’t reveal anything else yet.

Harley debuted the production-ready bike at the EICMA motorcycle show in Italy, pretty much showing off exactly what we saw with the concept from 2014.

What’s new here is confirmation of 300mm front rotors paired with Brembo calipers. The Livewire will also sport seven riding modes tuned with adjustable Showa suspension, a long-time Harley supplier that also supplies it’s stuff to the higher-end motorcycles from Japanese companies, as points out.

The company also plans to offer Level 2 chargers at dealer locations that sell its electric bikes, and the Livewire will be the start of a full range of EV bikes by 2022 when it goes on sale in 2019.

We still don’t have performance figures or pricing information, but orders start in January.
