The Mercedes-Benz G63 6x6 Is Totally Sold Out
The Mercedes-Benz G63 6x6 Is Totally Sold Out-February 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:13:21

The last of the mighty Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6s are being built this month, and if your order isn't in already you're just gonna have to wait 'til they start showing up on eBay. But that doesn't mean they're done with ... on the contrary, Mercedes might just be getting warmed up.

Last week Des Sellmeijer over at reported that the six-wheeled G-Wagens were "sold out." Now Mercedes has confirmed it officially; the "last G63 6x6 was ordered in January and will be built in February." The company has never shared official sales figures for the 6x6... but I cant wait to hear your speculation on how many of them there are.

We'd long suspected the 6x6 was the result of "bring your kid to work day" at one of Mercedes' design shops, but with the swooping in to fill the void immediately I'm starting to think these guys are actually dedicated to building batshit off-roaders. Which, I mean, ...awesome.

Must admit when its tarmac tires couldn't keep the car steady on Class-IV roads or wet grass. But with real off-road wheels and one hell of a suspension setup, the 4x4² addresses that point of contention and looks like it could be the most off-road capable production car out there right now.

I put the 2014 Mercedes G 63 AMG through the most extensive evaluation Truck Yeah! has done yet. It

is Jalopnik's off-road and adventure guy. Shoot him an or hit him up on to talk trucks.

Warn (The Winch Company) Is Making Jeep Wheels And They Look Pretty Good

I'm Trying To Cross The U.S.A. Twice In My '98 Montero So Here's How That's Going
Greetings from the Nebraska/Colorado border where my wife and I are about 1,300 miles into a 3,000ish-mile quest from Los Angeles to the northeast. We’re running my old-but-OK 1998 Mitsubishi Montero, on its biggest validation run since I adopted it. Theoretically, we’ll head home eventually, too. Here’s how I...
