Dear lord do I adore Stéphane Henrard's diesel VW Buggie running in the 2015 Dakar Rally.

This is a fairly custom buggy rather than a classic baja bug conversion, but I don't mind. It's completely awesome.

The engine in the back, if you're curious, is a 250 horsepower three liter diesel V6. Weight is 1350 kilos, or about 3000 pounds .

Here's the interior. Stick some wood paneling in there and you'd have my ultimate dream cabin.
