I've always had a sneaking suspicion that my life was incomplete, but I was never sure why until tonight. It's because I don't own a badass lifted DeLorean monster truck like Rich Weissensel does.

Rich is a software engineer from Chicago who has five custom examples of John Z.'s ill-fated but now-iconic sports car, including a Back to the Future version and a limousine. He started creating them after meeting the man himself 14 years ago.

Rich is an ethical customizer, too. Knowing there aren't a ton of DeLoreans running around, he only uses wrecked or damaged cars in his projects. He doesn't want to take the really good ones out of commission.

Good stuff. Now I have to figure out how to get that monster truck into my life.
