Somebody went ahead and replaced the trunk of their Ford Crown Victoria with some kind of wooden pickup truck-style bed basket and it looks, just, awful.

I'd guess this car lost it's rear quarter to rust or an accident. I respect the owner's determination to come up with a creative repair, but it seems like five more minutes of measuring would have yielded a significantly tidier product.

A reader spotted this chopped Panther in Virginia Beach. Such modifications might be common practice in other parts of the world, but I can't imagine VA State Police will let this guy do his thing when they get a look at these shoodily-affixed slabs of wood hanging off of where his bumper's meant to be.
