This One-Of-A-Kind Ferrari Shooting Brake Could Be Yours For $400,000
This One-Of-A-Kind Ferrari Shooting Brake Could Be Yours For $400,000-June 2024

This is the Ferrari 330 2+2 Speciale; it is not the prettiest Ferrari in the world. It does have a V12 engine with a really long roof, and unlike a 250 GTO breadvan that would auction in the range of eleventy-billion dollars, at Pebble Beach.

According to a 1972 article in Sports Car World, nightclub owner Robert Navarro was unhappy with the looks of his '66 330 GT 2+2. So he made a drawing of how wanted the car to look. The story goes that Navarro was friends with Piero Drogo of Carrozzeria Sports Cars, and was able to convince Drogo to take the design and remake the Ferrari.

The result is car that is well beyond the classic lines of Pininfarina; it is almost futuristic. It is a car that reflects the wild concepts that toured the auto-shows of the time, yet never materialized. This car actually existed and was driven. It still retained the same 300hp V12 and made it to 60 in about 8 seconds. But this car isn't about displacement or horsepower, or even track specs...it is a testament to one man's unique vision on taking an already amazing car to another level.

I'm of the philosophy that Ferraris should be left alone, but I have to respect man's quest to go to such lengths to make this car exactly how he envisioned. Considering there is no shortage of modern prancing horse owners who "alter" their cars with leather wraps, or obnoxious graphics, this 330 at least has some class.

Here's How Your Car Could Actually Be A Fantastic Investment
In my line of work, I’m constantly told two things by the general public: All cars are nothing but money pits, and My uncle has a ‘65 Mustang that’ll be worth 200 grand in three years, but I’ll sell it to you for $6500. Both statements are obviously bullshit, but...

Which States Are The Best And Worst For Working On Cars?
When it comes to car repair and modification, there’s just nothing better than grabbing some tools and making a weekend of it. However, there are certain parts of the country that are more accommodating to the shadetree mechanic than others. That’s why I’m polling the audience for the states that...

I Just Bought An Entire Jeep XJ Lift Kit For Less Than $120
Before wrenching could commence on my , which I plan to take to this year’s Easter Jeep Safari, I had to cobble together a lift kit. And it had to be cheap. Like, really cheap. When I went to last year’s Easter Jeep Safari, all I saw were really expensive...

Why Buy A Regular-Ass Chevy Camaro When This 510-HP Jaguar Is Way Cheaper?
Back in the good ol’ days, one could see a luxury coupe driving down the street and everyone not in that car would feel a sense of envy, also known scientifically as the jelly monster. Well, as it stands now, —one of the best looking, sounding and performing luxury convertibles...

Meet The DIY Mastermind Building A 74-Foot Sailboat By Hand In His Front Yard
Seeing a boat in someone’s yard is not uncommon. However, when that boat is a 74 foot long, 16 foot wide steel behemoth hand-built from scratch by the owner, it begins to raise eyebrows. Doug Jackson, of Tulsa, Oklahoma has such a boat in his front yard. It’s called SV...

Classic Cars Need Inspection Too
Classic Cars Need Inspection Too
I often tell people that they need to get used cars inspected before they buy, since so many used cars are sold without warranties. However, many people don’t realize this advice extends to classic car purchases as well. Let’s say you’ve got a couple grand in your pocket and decide...
