If you were trying to get from the northernmost point in the U.S. — Utqiagvik, Alaska — to the southernmost point in the U.S. — Key West, Florida — how would you do it? Chances are you’d hop the next flight to Anchorage and then it’s a hop, skip, and jump through Denver, Houston, and Orlando to get to Key West International Airport. , you’ve made it. But what if you turned travel into a game show, split into teams of two, and had to earn your transportation each day by completing a series of competitive challenges? That’s exactly what these .

“Jet Lag” is now in its eighth season, and each trip seems to get more ambitious than the last. If you’ve never watched, I can’t recommend it enough. Past seasons have been a giant (), or a giant game of , or . Each season features the trio of Adam Chase, Ben Doyle, and Sam Denby, often with a fourth guest star, usually a YouTube star in their own right. This season’s guest is .

Each season the rules are tweaked a little bit to fit the locale and the game in question. This season the teams of two compete for tickets which will get them a flight, a train ride, or a car ride by completing strange challenges, like competitive snowman building, or telling a joke to a moose. Only four episodes of this season have been released so far () and it’s truly the best travel show out there. I never watched “The Amazing Race,” but according to some “Jet Lag” .

Anyway, here’s the first episode of the current season. Watch it. Or don’t, I’m not your mom.

These Glorious '80s Mutants Free Us From The Tyranny Of Cafe Racers
Choppers are over and cafe racers are on their way out. We're seeing more tracker/scrambler-style bikes, but they still harken back to a bygone era that's more fashion than function. Icon isn't having it, and its latest pair of customs are pointing a way forward. Naturally, the New Jack and...

Al-Jazeera Just Got Its Hands On Docs From FSB, Mi6, Mossad, And More
The original Wikileaks US State Department cable dump a few years ago was illuminating at best, and embarrassing at worst. But a new batch of cable leaks is set to be released, this time from (working with the Guardian), and it's set to be a whole lot bigger. Documents from...

What's The Craziest Non-Car Made By A Carmaker?
Chrysler is a company now known for making dowdy family cars, pickup trucks, and the occasional Hellcat. But long before the modern-day era of staid sedans and Italian ownership, there was the Chrysler Space Division. And the Chrysler Space Division made rockets. Of course, you don't just decide that one...

Last October there was between two F-16 Vipers from the 125th Fighter Squadron of the Oklahoma Air National Guard. All we knew at the time was that one of the jets went down in a field after the pilot safely ejected, while the other managed to land with a damaged...

Why Is Suzuki Helping Fund This Chinese Ducati Knockoff?
No, Ducati is not offering a new, ultra-exclusive variant of the 1098 called the SPACE RANGER. They should, but that's besides the point. The point is that Suzuki is apparently a stakeholder in the company that makes this 300cc ode to Ducati's superbike. China has a long, proud tradition of...
