Chevy crapped out this awkward press release to try and not look like idiots:

"The Colorado was intended to be awarded to Brady, the Patriots' quarterback, in recognition of his Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award. However, Brady and Chevrolet huddled on Monday and Chevrolet determined Butler deserved recognition for his game-saving interception."

The text goes on to describe Brady as a "class act" for relinquishing his award, but I've gotta imagine Chevy is grumpy about it.

Either athlete could buy themselves a with pocket change, the point of the exercise for Chevy was to obviously to associate "Superbowl MVP" with their product and now Good Guy Tom Brady's gone fuct it up.

Or maybe I'm totally wrong and Brady was so fired up about the Colorado he felt Butler deserved a better bonus for his Super Bowl performance. As evidence to that, here's how Brady reacted to Butler's end-zone interception that sealed the Pats win. Looks like "happy."
