Traffic Jams: The Mountain Goats - 'Solidarity Forever'
Traffic Jams: The Mountain Goats - 'Solidarity Forever'-August 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:12:09

Last week, you may have noticed a few fewer articles from your favorite car website. By my count, you missed out on four Morning Shifts and Questions Of The Day, one installment each of Cool Tool, Dopest Cars, and the Suckers Slideshow, and untold numbers of stories about , , and various Elon Musk tweets.

Today, though, your humble servants here at the jello picnic website have returned. We’re ready to resume menacing your eyes, ears, and browser history, and to be menaced in turn by all of you in the comments. But our new lease on blog life isn’t due to boredom, listlessness, or a deep primal urge to resume staring at clicks on Chartbeat. We’re here because of one thing and one thing only: Solidarity.

This past week has been a whirlwind, but it’s been an amazing opportunity to meet some of the incredible people that work here. Whether they’re from different states or different websites, they’re some of the greatest writers, artists, and people I’ve ever had the opportunity to know. So to all of them, and all of you, I’d like to kick Jalopnik back off with two words: Solidarity forever.
