Truck Built 'Backwards' Still Works But Looks Really, Really Weird
Truck Built 'Backwards' Still Works But Looks Really, Really Weird-November 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:13:24

Body-on-frame construction gives customizers free range to do all kinds of wacky things; like turn a truck "backwards" so the driver looks out across the bed and the rear wheels do the steering. Who would do something like that? Apparently, this guy named Roy.

This first-generation Ford F-100 was spotted at Roy's Place Auto Repair in Danvers, Massachusetts. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

Looks like a few other "unusual" repairs/modifications have been made; I see at least one hole patched with a license plate. Flame sticker looks pretty righteous though.

The 420 HP 2019 Chevy Suburban RST Is America's Next Super Wagon
You’ll finally be able to get the with GM’s voracious 6.2-liter V8 this summer in the Suburban RST–an aftermarket-inspired “high performance” take on the company’s 18.6-foot long flagship SUV. See How Big Tires Can Change Wheel Horsepower
Big, beautiful all-terrain tires are key component of any off-road build, as they add ground clearance and traction. Plus, they look awesome. But they’re also going to cost you some performance, and you can see exactly how much in this dyno test. Putting big meaty rubber on Subarus seems to...

Here's Why The 2019 Ford Raptor's New 'Live Valve' Shocks Sound So Interesting
The 2019 is getting new hardware over the outgoing 2018 model, including fancy Fox shocks that detect when the vehicle is flying, as well as off-road cruise control called “Trail Control.” The 2019 Raptor, like the outgoing 2018 truck, gets Fox 3.0-inch internal bypass shocks, except now instead of just...

The Four-Cylinder 2018 Jeep Wrangler's 24 MPG Makes It The First Not To Kill Your Wallet
The 2.0-liter turbocharged ’s fuel economy figures are in, and with numbers as high as 24 MPG combined, the world finally has a Wrangler with fuel economy that’s actually borderline “livable.” One of the drawbacks to driving a boxy, tall off-roader like the Jeep Wrangler has always been fuel efficiency....
