At the famed Isle of Man TT motorcycle race, the Snaefell Mountain Course claimed its 249th and 250th fatalities in the same day on Monday.

Sidecar rider and Isle of Man resident Dwight Beare, 27, lost his life in a crash around , between the 15- and 16-mile markers on the course. His co-rider survived, taken to the hospital with just an ankle injury. The race was red-flagged but later re-run, the reports.
