We Could See The 2018 Jeep Wrangler By As Early As November: Report
We Could See The 2018 Jeep Wrangler By As Early As November: Report-May 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:13:12

We’ve been waiting around for the for what feels like a really long time. But! There could be light at the end of the tunnel. A light shining brightly from a time not too far from now called November.

Our friends at published a graphic today which they claim shows the JL Wrangler’s timeline from now through 2019. The forum cited an unnamed but trusted source who verified this information.

The Nov. 13 launch date refers to the official production launch—meaning when the Toledo North Assembly Plant will begin producing the 2018 four-door JL Unlimited with the 3.6-liter engine in order to fulfill preliminary dealer allocations.

We, as members of the public, won’t get to see the truck officially until its revealed at the LA Auto Show on Nov. 27. JL Wrangler Forums admits that it doesn’t know if this means that FCA will show the new Wrangler before the Los Angeles reveal or if it will just reveal everything on the 27th and be done with it.

Additionally, all the rest of the entires are, according to JL Wrangler Forums, production milestones for when the Toledo plant begins production, not when people can start taking delivery. The forum notes that there is about a six-week lead time with the current Wrangler between production to delivery, but it’s unclear if the new Wrangler will follow suit.

If this graphic is to be believed, the current Wrangler production will end on March 31. You can probably expect some serious discounts around that time.

We have reached out to FCA for comment on the matter and will update if we hear back.

An FCA spokesperson declined our request for comment.
