Weekend Motorsports Roundup, Apr. 4-5, 2015
Weekend Motorsports Roundup, Apr. 4-5, 2015-July 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:43

Welcome to the Jalopnik , where we let you know what's going on in the world of racing, where you can see it, and where you can talk about it all in one convenient place. Where else would you want to spend your weekend?

There's not a lot going on this weekend because of the holidays. Formula E is the only live event scheduled for TV, as it's their turn to head out west to Long Beach today. There's also a live stream of some NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing as well, if you're more into ovals.

Everything else on TV proper is either a rerun or a delayed showing. Time to cuddle up with your Easter Bunny and/or sneak away to the Fast and Furious guilty-pleasure-fest, I guess.

If you know about anything we missed, or about good livestreams out there, let us know in the comments below.

Entire Side Of Car Gets Ripped Off In Crash At The 12 Hours Of Sebring
The 12 Hours of Sebring has barely started and it's already completely crazy. Michael Shank Racing's Ozz Negri almost came into contact with the Team Falken Tire Porsche 911, but hit something way worse. Negri caught the curb trying to get around the 911 on the inside, and the curb...

World's Greenest Car Wins Pole For 12 Hours Of Sebring
The absolute greenest (look at it, man) car on the grid won pole for the 12 Hours of Sebring: the number 57 Ligier JS P2 Judd of Krohn Racing. Olivier Pla put down a stonking fast lap that put Kermit's race car on pole. Krohn just started racing the JS...

Bathing In Your Own Sweat Sucks Way Less When You Win The Race
Bathing In Your Own Sweat Sucks Way Less When You Win The Race
Modern race cars often come equipped with cool suits that circulate water through tubes close to the driver's skin, making hot, muggy locales like Sebring somewhat bearable. Sometimes they fail. Stevenson Motorsports' number 6 Chevrolet Camaro became a rolling sauna on the grid, but they won anyway. The number 6...

We're suckers for , and this, this, ladies and germs, is how you do a beard. One of the crewmembers on the Austin-based CJ Wilson Racing team knows the ways and secrets of The Beard. This is by far the best beard I've seen in the paddock. The team's MX-5...
