Weekend Motorsports Roundup, Sept. 26-27, 2015
Weekend Motorsports Roundup, Sept. 26-27, 2015-June 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:38

Welcome to the Jalopnik , where we let you know what’s going on in the world of racing, where you can see it, and where you can talk about it all in one convenient place. Where else would you want to spend your weekend?

There is plenty going on, so you should be thoroughly entertained by fast cars and loud noises over the next few days (just don’t bust the speakers on your TV to get the “loud noises” effect, please — if you do, we take no blame for it).

From two wheels to plane wings, we’ve got you covered. To highlight a few of the things available to watch this weekend:

Formula One is running the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday, and (like most F1 races) it’s perfect timing if you’re a night owl on the East Coast. And, for the sake of everyone’s safety, let’s hope a fan doesn’t like last week.

The top tiers of NASCAR are in two places at once this weekend, with the Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the Xfinity Series in Kentucky. With (guys, we literally just started the Chase!), the Sunday race should be a good one to tune into.

NHRA is at Gateway Motorsports Park for its second round in the Countdown to the Championship, and there are plenty of other championship races playing this weekend — that list includes the delayed Pirelli World Challenge broadcast and the live stream from Sports Car Club of America.

While that is just a quick snapshot of what’s to grace your TV screen with its presence this weekend, an expanded schedule is listed below. We’d tell you to “have a good weekend,” but with this TV lineup, we already know you will.

If we missed anything or you know of a good live stream going on this weekend, feel free to share in the comments below.
