What Car Has The Easiest Infotainment System To Use?-April 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:10:43

In-car infotainment systems are too damn hard to use these days. And that's not just for the Olds, that notion goes for everyone, as Patrick . But maybe it doesn't have to be this way. Maybe a brighter, easier future is ahead. And maybe you've got that infotainment system right now.

The issues that are arising out of infotainment systems aren't anything new, or unique to the automotive industry. As demand and competition for features goes up, automakers and consumers alike feel pressure to have them in their cars. Whereas previously the greatest intrusion into your drive might have been a radio, Audi is now installing 4G LTE with Twitter and Facebook capability into the new A3.

How will that enhance your drive? I'm still not sure. But it's there.

These sorts of features will keep piling up, though, and there's no end in sight, what with technologies like Apple's on the horizon. And maybe there doesn't have to be. As hard as I've tried, I haven't yet spent hours and hours with every in-car touchscreen and dashboard in the world. Maybe there's one out there that is just a true pleasure to use, that doesn't pose a hazard to the actual task of driving at hand.

While you might have expected Apple's CarPlay iOS system to appear in a Tesla, the winner of this…

So what car do you think contains the most user-friendly infotainment system? The only rules here are that it's got to have been made in the past ten years, and it's got to have a GPS system installed.

Bonus points for newer cars. Let us know in the comments below!
