So you found Lanesplitter, the new motorcycle blog on Jalopnik. Welcome! We’re happy to have you here. Have a seat, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and tell us about what kind of motorcycle you ride. And hey, why’d you go for that one?

There are a few great things about this post. First of all, all us writers are curious about what our readers are riding. Otherwise we’ll just have to assume y’all are really into motorized unicycles like the rest of us.

Second, those who are “in the market” for a first (or second, or third) bike will be able to see what you like about your machine and might get inspired to pick one up themselves.
