What Do You Want To Know About The Mercedes G500 4x4²?
What Do You Want To Know About The Mercedes G500 4x4²?-March 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:13:16

We got our hands on the amazing technicolor and raised hell all over the Nevada desert, snapped necks in Beverly Hills, even impressed the drive-thru girl at In-N-Out Burger. So get stoked for some good stories. Meanwhile, ask me anything you want to know about the truck!

Short story? The G Squared is one of those experiences I’ll be thinking about when I’m a creaky old man, starring pensively into the distance with a nostalgic heart and a well-poisoned liver.

As for tech the coolest features are portal axles, an unbelievably long (and numerous) suspension setup, and of course the paintjob. The price has been reported at $250,000, but the truck is thusfar considered a “near-series show-car” meaning you may or may not be able to buy one eventually.

Engine is a twin-turbo 4.0 V8, which is really the only part of this car you’re likely to encounter any time soon.

Behind the wheel, it’s your favorite Hot Wheels come to life. Even better– it’s actually excellent to drive. But before I use up all my great lines of hyperbole I’ve planned for this thing, let’s just get to your questions.

I’ll answer everything I can in the comments and try to address things in the longer review to follow as well. I will also e-mail the engineers in Germany who cooked this baby up, so hopefully I won’t have to disappoint you nerds out there as much as usual.

If you can’t find it in , I’ll do my best to find out what you want to know!

Truck Goes For A Blind U-Turn, Gets Slammed By Another Speeding Truck
Looks like a construction truck on the side of this Russian highway decided he'd go ahead and merge into the middle of the road without looking to see that another truck was barreling down on him. Big mistake. The more I watch this crash, the gnarlier it looks. Amazingly the...

'Storm' Bus-Sized RV Is A Decent House, But A Mediocre Car
Maybe an RV has ruined a few backroads for you as a pain-in-the-ass pace car. But surely you've pondered the prospect of living and driving within the same four walls at least once. Well we tried it; the mobile couch and kitchen is pretty kickass. But a Class A RV...
