What Do You Want To Know About The New Toyota Avalon?
What Do You Want To Know About The New Toyota Avalon?-July 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:10:00

Quite possibly the most fantastically invisible car on sale today, the Toyota Avalon, is in my hands. What do you want to know about it?

Toyota has apparently made the most hilariously comfortable car on the market even more comfortable for 2016, so I felt it was necessary to give the thing I try. , so I figure the ‘16 will be even better.

Who gets to do burnouts in the middle of Manhattan? Who gets to stand on full ABS stops on empty…

Now, does anyone know how to get traction control fully disabled in this thing?

2023 Honda Civic Type R Rumored To Make 326 Horsepower
The is highly anticipated, but on its debut a few weeks back one major thing was missing: its power numbers. Honda has kept that info close to its chest, as one Honda rep told me at its debut: “Gotta have something to look forward to.” But as things often...

Nissan Rogue Will Cost a Little More for 2023 But Also Gain a Midnight Edition
A is a car that even Rogue owners do not spend a lot of time thinking about. A guy I know owns a new-ish Nissan Rogue for the sole reason that his car buying strategy — pre-pandemic, at least — was to show up to car dealerships and ask...

Tesla Brought Its Battle Against Dealers to Louisiana
Tesla Brought Its Battle Against Dealers to Louisiana
Probably the one thing reasonable people can agree about is that its sales model — direct sales to consumers — is superior to having a third-party , as almost every other automaker has, because dealerships suck major shit and pretty much only still exist because of . Of course,...

BMW and Bosch Are Getting Deeper Into Hydrogen Fuel Cells
BMW and Bosch Are Getting Deeper Into Hydrogen Fuel Cells
Hydrogen power is kind of unique in the world of alternative energy because it’s already reasonably mature. Fuel cells have been around for decades now, so it’s the infrastructure that’s keeping things from taking off rather than the technology. BMW doesn’t seem to care about that because, according to...

The 2022 Lynk & Co 01 Is a Car for People Who Don't Care About Cars
The 2022 Lynk & Co 01 Is a Car for People Who Don't Care About Cars
The is difficult to describe. Not because it’s uncategorizable. It’s a compact crossover, and if you close your eyes and sketch a contemporary crossover, you’ll end up with : a slightly bulbous body, four doors, a hatch, black plastic wheel arches over 20-inch wheels that somehow look undersized. A...

At $7,000, Is This 1986 Buick Century Gran Sport a Grand Bargain?
At $7,000, Is This 1986 Buick Century Gran Sport a Grand Bargain?
The naturally-aspirated 3.8 in today’s Buick GS is 90 horsepower shy of the turbocharged edition in the contemporary Grand National. Let’s see if the price is also commensurately lower, or if it’s a Grand National disaster. Asking under five grand for a clean-running car in today’s market is laudable....
