What's The Most Technologically Complex Cheap Used Car You Can Buy Today?-November 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:13:40

I love cars that that serve as rolling science projects. It’s just something about the ways that auto manufacturer find solutions to problems that didn’t need fixing. So here’s a question: what’s the most technologically advanced used car you can buy that wouldn’t break the budget?

I have a feeling that it may be the C5 generation Audi Allroad, with its four-level air suspension, twin-turbocharged 30-valve engine that’s ridiculously cramped to work on and prone to carbon buildup and oil leaks, all-wheel drive system, LCD readouts in the interior, an entire CAN-BUS network for its various computers and dual-zone climate control. You can buy a decent example for around $4000 and it has the complexity of a Bugatti Veyron. Yeah, what could go wrong?

I won’t put a budget cap on it, but feel free to use your own discretion. What cheap cars are Saturn-V complex? And why do I want them all?

You can also follow him on and . He won’t mind.

What It Was Like Traveling On An Airplane With 120 Pounds Of Car Parts And Tools
Earlier this month, I devised an absolutely to pick up from the middle of nowhere a rare, manual transmission 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I’d bought sight unseen for $700. It’s a vehicle that I refer to as the “Holy Grail of Jeep Grand Cherokees,” except its condition was...

A Welded-Together, Two-Car Tandem Drift Car Works Shockingly Well
You may or may not like drifting and drift cars, but you cannot deny they have style. They can wear brightly colored liveries, be covered in stickers and be in various states of banged-up. But this particular BMW drift car has two engines—because the cars have been welded together. For...
