Nice Price Or Crack Pipe: The $200,000 Turbo Buick Regal?
Nice Price Or Crack Pipe: The $200,000 Turbo Buick Regal?-August 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:10:20

You ready for It's ready for you! Today we've got a really interesting one: the original prototype Gale Banks Buick turbocharged V6 engine- the one that led to the Grand National- installed in a Full Mullet Airbrush Mural Overload '81 Regal… and priced at two hundred grand. That engine, if legit, is certainly worth plenty, but that car somehow doesn't look six-figure-y. What do you think?

Thanks to for the tip!

At $23,995, Would You Gobble Up This 2015 Maserati Ghibli?
At $23,995, Would You Gobble Up This 2015 Maserati Ghibli?
The Maserati Ghibli may not be a great car, but could the price drop from new on today’s clean-titled 2015 mean it can still be a great deal? I’m not sure what was the harsher reality to wake up to last Friday—the fact that the Tesla Cybertruck wasn’t actually...

The Lamborghini Jarama Was Good And One Of You Should Buy This One
The Lamborghini Jarama was good. Like most good Lamborghinis, it wore lines by Marcello Gandini over the famous V12. That’s the basic formula. But the Jarama was more than that. It was rude. It was angular. It had some of the best moving headlights in the business. It’s the...

Porsche Doesn't Make A 911 Hybrid But You Can Get One Anyway
“Our goal was to make the hybrid system disappear into the car. We wanted to do it the way Porsche would have done it,” CEO Chuck Moreland said about his company’s 2013 Porsche 911. The car was heavily modified to be electrified but doesn’t feel like it. It does feel...

Vintage Porsche 911 Prices Seem Normal Again, Maybe
Is a decent driver-grade 911 selling for a sane price a sign of consumer confidence levels, a portent of a downward trending economic environment, or just a buyer getting a great deal? Today on Bring A Trailer—arguably among the most iconic sports cars of all time—sold for a price...

I Have Discovered Dodge's 'Holiday Gifts' Section And I Will Never Be The Same
I am a self-proclaimed Hellcat Woman, which still surprises me. I’m into lighter sports cars, paying roughly six figures to thunder down the highway in a Dodge has never been on my radar, and I find that lower power numbers are more fun for street driving. Yetthe absurdity of...

I Sold My $500 Postal Jeep But I'm Still Driving It And That's Just Unhealthy
The best thing to do when you sell a vehicle is to never see it again. I know, because I just sold my and yet I’m still seeing it daily and even cruising in it. And it’s driving me crazy. I somehow managed to get 2,000 actual U.S. dollars...
