You know the one type of track most of us will never get to drive, even if we're hardcore track dorks? A temporary street circuit. Detroit's Belle Isle is one of the prettier ones and Magnus Racing threw a camera in their Porsche 911 GT America to capture this series of chaotic restarts.

Restarts are always nuts. All the cars bunch up, so the folks you worked so hard to pass come right back on your back bumper, plus you get closer to that fellow in front of you who you'd like to get by. Faster traffic intermingles with slower cars and gets held up by the clump.

So, ride along with Magnus as they start and restart a few times on a lovely, sunny race day on Belle Isle.
