That's what Ford Global Product Development Vice President Raj Nair confirmed, possibly by accident, during a TV interview on Fox Sports during this weekend's 24 Hours of Daytona, according to a report by .

Ford officials had said that the new car's 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 would make more power than the outgoing Raptor's 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8, which was rated at 411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque. Automobile says they expect the V6's torque to best the V8 in that department as well.

In addition to more power, the new F-150 is also some 500 pounds lighter than its predecessor. All signs point to the new Raptor being even more sublimely badass than the current one. Can't wait!
