Behold These Stunning Images From The 6 Hours of Bahrain-July 2024

Some say practice days in endurance racing have a bit more purpose than providing you with amazing wallpapers, but as long as we get car porn like this, I don't care what it is.

The Bahrain International Circuit was opened just ten years ago. It's got the same grippy Graywacke aggregate tarmac (shipped in from England) as the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, and if you like the looks, thank Hermann Tilke, the German racer/engineer/circuit designer who dreamed up or helped upgrading numerous F1 tracks in the last two decades, including the new Circuit of the Americas in 2011.

But enough of the architecture, here are the cars that have to survive those crucial six hours in the desert this weekend:
