Boston Is Getting An IndyCar Race
Boston Is Getting An IndyCar Race-August 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:42

IndyCar might be having a tumultuous few days before the Indy 500, but there is some good news coming from them: The series has just announced a brand new Labor Day weekend race in Boston starting next year.

The event will take place on an 11 turn 2.25 mile temporary street circuit around the Boston Convention Center. Boston seems excited about having the event during a weekend that is traditionally low on tourism while IndyCar is excited to race anywhere.

The course does look challenging and fast, so that’s a good start. The real test will be to see if it has long term stability and support. So many IndyCar races go away after just one running because investors didn’t see the return that they were hoping for. It’s a long term play and needs to be done properly.

Now I just need to figure out how I’m going to get up there to watch this one.

Red Bull Set A Dangerous Precedent Demanding Competitors Pay For Crash Damage
We have spent over about crash damage, placing blame, and off-track demands for reprimand and fair compensation in Formula One.
