Once again, all of the have descended upon Austin for Lone Star Le Mans. We know a lot of y’all (yes, y’all) are also floating around this weekend, so let’s get together. by popular demand, we’ll have a meet-up TONIGHT at 8 p.m. at , just north of the University of Texas campus.

This is my favorite weekend in Austin, and sadly, it’s our understanding that this is the last time it will happen in its current configuration. IMSA and the World Endurance Championship have separate weekends at Circuit of the Americas next year, which makes it easier on their end, but means this party is breaking up.

In the meantime, we’ve got both of America’s big endurance series, Porsche GT3 Cup, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, and of course, many of the cars we watched for an entire day at Le Mans.

Posse East, 2900 Duval St., Austin, Texas, 78705 — right at the corner of Duval and San Jacinto. And yes, there is food—just in case pricey track burgers aren’t your style and you’re waiting to eat. It’s good, solid American and Tex-Mex fare.

We’ll start around 8 p.m. That’s right as GT3 Cup wraps up at the track, so never fear—there’s cold beer and warm queso, so we’re sticking around for a while. Also, GT3 Cup in the evening is a sight worth watching, so .
