According to , they only made it through the first round of qualifying until the heavens opened up and washed any chances of continuing on track away. Grand Prix of St. Petersburg winner Juan Pablo Montoya gained the most from the wash-out. He would have been eliminated in Q1 had they continued with qualifying. Team Penske teammate Helio Castroneves was also spared an embarrassing Q1 elimination due to the weather-caused cancellation. Castroneves will start from fourth on the grid.

The stories of the handful of women who have attempted a break into Formula One have all been fraught with some kind of disaster. Many of them didn’t qualify. Many of them didn’t finish a race. But no woman’s tale is quite as strange as that of Giovanna Amati, the...

Sébastien Loeb Proves He's The GOAT, Wins Rally Catalunya After Five Year Hiatus
Sébastien Loeb edged out defending WRC champ Sébastien Ogier by 2.9 seconds to win RallyRACC Catalunya this weekend. Max Verstappen Nabs Fifth Formula One Victory, Hamilton Coasts To Fifth World Driver's Championship
Lewis Hamilton needed to finish seventh or higher in order to mathematically preclude Sebastian Vettel, his last eligible competitor with a chance, from the 2018 World Championship and take it for himself. By sitting back and allowing everyone else to fight it out, Hamilton trotted home in fourth, the last...

Re-Watch the Greatest F1 Race of a Generation, the 2008 Brazilian Grand Prix
Just the other day of Brazil’s new fascist president . And for some reason, today Formula 1 decided to re-air the 2008 Brazil GP in which he suffered probably the most heartbreaking loss in recent racing history. I remember watching this in a cafe in Williamsburg while the New York...
