Daniel Ricciardo's Suspension Didn't Want To Stay Attached To Its Wheel
Daniel Ricciardo's Suspension Didn't Want To Stay Attached To Its Wheel-June 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:48

Poor Daniel Ricciardo. His Infiniti Red Bull Racing car retired with 30 laps to go in the Brazilian Grand Prix. Watch that left wheel. Also, watch that suspension bar that, uh, doesn't look particularly attached over there.

This ends Ricciardo's streak of fifteen races without a single DNF. Each of those fifteen races scored Daniel points, too.

I blame shaving that It was like Samson's hair, but for race cars, willing the car forward by the sheer power of awesome.

The world weeps for the loss of those great 'chops, Daniel. Weeps. Red Bull claims it's for weight…

Currently, Daniel leads Valtteri Bottas by 59 points. That lead will shrink now that Ricciardo will finish 18th, with the first retirement of the race today.
