Last weekend’s Rally Poland should have been enough excitement to bring you to your feet regardless, with total underdog Ott Tänak getting his first ever World Rally Championship win. But if absolutely nothing will get you off your butt, here’s a visual. Don’t sit down outside corners like this dude.

Anybody who’s been to a properly run autocross will tell you: if there’s a chance of a car getting flung in your general direction, you’ll get barked at if you sit down. The same should (in theory!) apply to rally stages. The cars can and will jump up and land on you if you’re not on your toes, ready to move.
