Dumb Idiot Takes Casual Stroll Along F1 Practice Session
Dumb Idiot Takes Casual Stroll Along F1 Practice Session-December 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:33

A fellow was out for a walk during today’s Free Practice 2 session for the Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix. Psst, buddy—I think you’re supposed to stay on the other side of that catch fence.

We’re not sure why this guy was on the wrong side of the fence, but we do know that he’s probably going to make the circuit photographers’ meeting even longer the next time they run through the dos and don’ts. It’s just like last year’s all over again.

Yesterday’s Formula One Singapore Grand Prix wasn’t just bizarre because a Mercedes didn’t finish.…

I mean, the list of don’ts based on dumb stuff people do at the track is already pretty long:

Get hit in the face with a tireCatch on fireStreak across an active race track

Review your photos in pit lane, then get hit by a car because you weren’t paying attention

Get in teams’ wayMaldonado your golf cart on the trackside access pathPick fights with marshalsClimb inside the marshal stand and claim that mooning Nico Rosberg is “showing him the white flag”

Wear hilariously impractical 4" stilettos and eat it on an access pathChange the media center wifi name to “Poopsocks”

Block the access of emergency vehicles

Walk on the other side of the catch fenceGet hit in the face by a car on the other side of the catch fenceGet in emergency vehicles’ way because you got hit in the face with a car on the other side of the catch fenceNo, really, stay behind the catch fenceWe’re serious: stay behind the catch fenceBruh, stay behind the catch fence unless you want a face full of car

All The Great Old Race Cars From That Downton Abbey Racing Episode
I’ll be honest: I haven’t really been watching , and if I have seen it at lately it’s been mostly to watch that old Dowager Whatshername get all dry-Mean-Girls on someone—or for the glimpses of old cars. Well, the DTA crew must have decided to go heavy on the latter,...

Parker Kligerman Makes Insane Escape From Pileup, Proves The Jalopnik Bump Is Real
As typical of NASCAR races at Daytona International Speedway, Friday night’s Camping World Truck Series opener . Big wrecks, at that.
