Fernando Alonso's F1 Car Catches Fire Just Like A Street Ferrari
Fernando Alonso's F1 Car Catches Fire Just Like A Street Ferrari-March 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:48

When Fernando Alonso's car started to catch fire during during the second round of practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix, he simply pulled over, got out of the car and brought over a fire extinguisher as if this were a normal, expected thing to do.

It is when you drive a Ferrari, I suppose.

Car's on fire. No big deal. Just calmly fetch the fire extinguisher and wait for the rescue truck.

Luckily, no one was injured in the fire. reports the engine was due to be changed anyway, but there's always the risk of fire damaging the rest of the car. No word yet on whether Alonso will have to start from the put like Sebastian Vettel did in Austin last weekend for using up five power units already.

McLaren's Catastrophic Formula One Car Is Nearing 24 Hours Of Lemons Bad
It sounds odd that Jenson Button will not drive McLaren’s Formula One car before he for Fernando Alonso at the Monaco Grand Prix, but it makes sense if you’ve ever been on the level of failure McLaren’s dealing with. McLaren’s car is so bad, they’re even starting to act like...
