This terrifying and gnarly crash, dubbed “the big one” by commentators, happened in the 60th lap of today’s Camping World Truck Series race. Ben Rhodes’ No. 41 truck went into the wall, bounced off and slammed into the pack, sparking a huge chain reaction of crashes and spinouts.

About midway through the video you can see this smoldering pack of four or five cars just slide across the tarmac until they grind to a halt on the inside barrier.

Pockrass nine trucks are out of the race now; five drivers were treated and released from the medical center.
