This car started out as a bone-stock new Chevrolet Corvette. What it has become is a drag radial monster with a 4,000 horsepower twin-turbo Hemi good for 200 mph in 4.05 seconds.
This is Andrew Alepa’s car and well, not much of the original Corvette is left. The small block Chevy is gone and the actual chassis of the car has made an exit, too. notes that this is a full tube-frame chassis with a 548 cubic-inch “Outlaw” Hemi tucked under the hood. Under the nose are two 102 mm Precision Turbochargers, which explains the power output.
Whether or not this thing still counts as a Corvette is up for debate, I suppose.
