How Fast Are Those Funny-Looking IndyCars, Really?
How Fast Are Those Funny-Looking IndyCars, Really?-March 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:44

We've seen the new for this year, but how do the cars drive with all those fancy add-ons? Well, for one, they make Barber Motorsports Park look like a go-kart track when they run it in what appears to be fast-forward. Here's an onboard from this week's test. Enjoy.

Welcome to , a feature where we spend that pesky time between races looking at awesome footage from inside the car.

You can see when it comes to being able to carry more speed into the corners this year. These cars are insanely quick.

This is aboard Sébastien Bourdais' number 11 KVSH Racing Chevrolet IndyCar. The Chevrolet package was the fastest on practice day, however, that just gave rise to rumors of Honda sandbagging. (Of course.)

We'll see who's really the fastest at the first race at St. Petersburg on March 29.

Have an awesome onboard video to share? Drop me a line at or post it in the comments below.
