IMSA Radio Reunites ALMS Crew To Broadcast An Insane Amount Of Races
IMSA Radio Reunites ALMS Crew To Broadcast An Insane Amount Of Races-March 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:50

American sportscar racing has been missing the audio crew of John Hindhaugh, Greg Creamer and Jeremy Shaw ever since ALMS merged with Grand Am to create the TUDOR United SportsCar series. No more— to cover nearly every race IMSA sanctions.

In a deal with the Radio Show Ltd. crew (the folks who put on the informative and wonderful broadcasts), IMSA Radio will feature Shaw, Creamer and Hindhaugh covering everything from United SportsCar and the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge to support series like Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Prototype Lites and the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA.

It's finally the kind of coverage that ultra-mega-awesome support series like deserve. Every TUSC and CTSCC race will get live audio of practice and qualifying sessions, plus full-length coverage of every race. Support series that run on IMSA race weekends will get full qualifying and race coverage as well.

If you are a Porsche fan and you weren't either in Austin at Circuit of the Americas this weekend…

If you'd prefer something to watch during these races, never you fear. IMSA Radio is now the voice of all IMSA.com streaming content, which includes the international video feed for TUSC qualifying sessions and races, plus video of any CTSCC, Super Trofeo and GT3 Cup races that run with the TUDOR series.

IMSA.com, radiolemans.com and other affiliates will carry the audio feed, which will also be broadcast at every TUSC event.

Not going to lie, I have a soft spot for John Hindhaugh. The Radio Le Mans crew can easily make the newest of race fans understand exactly what's going on and why it matters.

I'm also glad to see that someone finally understands the need to put races in front of fans in digital formats that we'd like to watch and listen to—perhaps much better than some of their television partners do. Now I can have excellent GT3 Cup coverage from my laptop without ever having to find a TV and/or leave the house. Thanks, IMSA.
