Jalopnik's Twitch Channel Launches Tomorrow (For Real This Time)
Jalopnik's Twitch Channel Launches Tomorrow (For Real This Time)-February 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:12:09

Last week, we told you all about our and its very definite launch date of Thursday, March 3. Due to some , we ended up spending most of that week away from our keyboards, consoles, and website, but never fear — we’re back, and worse than ever.

Tomorrow, March 10th, we’ll be launching , for real this time. Join me and Adam Ismail as we explore the world of , a game that echoes some of the greatest parts of racing games past — and a few of their faults too. You may even spot a few of our fellow staff in the chat, so come prepared with questions like “Hey Owen, why do you not have your driver’s license yet?” He loves that one.

While tomorrow’s stream is set on GT7, our future schedules are still up in the air. If there’s anything you want us to play, do, or discuss, let us know! We want it to be a place where we can really hang out with all of you dear readers, building the sorts of toxic and one-sided emotionally fulfilling parasocial relationships the kids all love so much.

We’ll be and at that same Bat-time every Thursday afternoon. Throw us on in a window at work, so the soothing dulcet tones of two car bloggers arguing over Dodge Viper generations can carry you out to the end of your workday. You’ll discover the faces and voices that accompany the words you read on this here , and find out if we look as punchable as we sound (we absolutely do).

See you tomorrow, 4PM on March 10th, on . Snacks and drinks will not be provided.

Steve, Knower Of Dates, wrote that tomorrow would be March 6th. He is wrong. Tomorrow, the date of the stream, will be March 10. He is very sorry and will look into learning what a calendar is.

The Upgraded 2020 Ford GT Has The Only Gulf Livery Throwback That I Don't Hate
I’m not going to make many friends with this take, but here goes: Gulf liveries are overdone and tacky, now worthier of contempt than admiration. But the upgraded 2020 Ford GT has forced me to eat my highly opinionated words. It looks—and I truly hate to say it—Actually Good....

A Nissan Leaf Just Finished A 230-Mile Autonomous Trip In Britain
A Nissan Leaf Just Finished A 230-Mile Autonomous Trip In Britain
A Nissan Leaf completes a long journey all by itself, General Motors issues a recall of a recall, and Toyota didn’t do so hot last quarter. All this and more for on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020. I’m firm on my belief that fully autonomous driving is decades away, but...

It Was Always The Escalade
It Was Always The Escalade
“Some people don’t always think ‘Cadillac’ when they think of an Escalade,” Rob Hunwick, Cadillac’s lead exterior designer, told us at a launch event in New York City today. “They don’t say, ‘I drive a Cadillac,’ they say, ‘I drive an Escalade.’” Hunwick’s point was to indicate the recognition and...

Bob Seger — 'Turn The Page'
Traffic sucks, so why not start your morning off with some music? You provide the toast and we’ll provide the jams. This is my go-to karaoke song, if it’s available. People love it when you sing something that goes on for too long and you sing it in the most...

BMW Might Do A Single Grille; Red Is Blue; Down Is Up
Some people are still laughing at the BMW X7’s super large pre-sneeze snout. I, for one, got over it when I saw the SUV in person. Then a few months ago, (are they even kidneys anymore?) came out and we cried. Now, there’s this shit. Justin over at @allcarnews...
