Travis enjoyed racing in last year’s so much we, as a site, decided to sponsor the trophies for at New Jersey Motorsports Park. If you’re anywhere close you should come and party with us.

As a part of our commitment to affordable, exciting racing action we’ve stepped up to support the series as a sponsor for the race in our own backyard. Because the crew at AER is super chill they allowed us to call the trophies the “Jalopnik Cup Of Excellence.”

There are two nine-hour races, one on Saturday, May 2nd starting at 9:00 am and one on Sunday, May 3rd starting at 9:00 am.

We’ll have a reader meetup on Saturday at 4:00 PM at our awesome RV we’re getting for the trip (more details to come).

Bring your car and we’ll give you a Jalopnik classic sticker, which are going away soon!

Travis is racing and thus will probably have embarrassing helmet hair when he gets out of the car. Try to capture a picture of it and post it to your favorite image sharing or social media service!
