Laguna Seca's Corkscrew Almost Wasted McLaren's Very Own P1 GTR
Laguna Seca's Corkscrew Almost Wasted McLaren's Very Own P1 GTR-July 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:34

The #51 has Chief Test Driver Chris Goodwin’s name on its window and Bruno Senna in its driver’s seat for the P1 GTR owners. What it doesn’t have is a special button for Laguna Seca’s Corkscrew.

Our expert analysis identified this as a near miss, which I’m sure McLaren is very happy about, especially considering that Paul Mackenzie and his team at Special Operations is busy enough as it is—fixing , rebuilding and coming up with for those lucky few with very special bank accounts.

The hat tip goes to for catching #51's near-nosebleed experience, who we salute you being at the right spot at the right time with the red button mode engaged:

Cold Pirelli slicks are a menace.

Thanks Greg!
