Monaco Grand Prix Qualifying Has A BUT GRO PER
Monaco Grand Prix Qualifying Has A BUT GRO PER-July 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:42

Sometimes Formula One’s three-letter abbreviations spell out something a bit off. Today, we saw this particular combination of Jenson Button, Romain Grosjean and Sergio Perez’s names during F1 qualifying. Sounds like y’all might want to watch your butts. There’s a BUT GRO PER on the loose.

For better or for worse, the final results saw GRO jump ahead of BUT for 11th and 12th, respectively, and PER hop into 7th.

For a brief moment, though: BUT GRO PER. Always remember. Always. (Huh huh.)

What’s the silliest combination of three-letter name abbreviations you’ve ever seen during a race?

What The Hell Is Happening With IndyCar's Brakes?
If there’s been a consistent theme with Brembo brakes on single-seaters this year, it’s been “not good.” During today’s Verizon IndyCar Series season opener, Spencer Pigot’s brakes exploded on lap 26.
