NASCAR Becomes NOPE-car With Bizarre Bee Infestation
NASCAR Becomes NOPE-car With Bizarre Bee Infestation-May 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:44

Africanized swarms of bees took to the back of Derrike Cope's hauler at last weekend's NASCAR Xfinity Axalta Faster. Tougher. Brighter. 200 at the Auto Club Speedway. One word: .

The number 70 team had set out a nice little sitting area behind the hauler that absolutely no one who wasn't a bee wanted to use. The crew was all fine and thankfully, no one got stung by a bee, but the crew members inside the hauler itself had to duct tape the back doors of the hauler to keep bees from coming in.

If there's such a thing as my worst nightmare in NASCAR, it's not a who may or may not have made a totally staged TV commercial. Nope. It's bees.

Nope.

Nope.

Nope.

Torch hauler, buy all new tools, nuke it from orbit, we're done here. Run. Away.

This is from the beginning of NASCAR's GarageCam, and they made short work of making a billion bee puns on camera. Longtime NASCAR driver and 1990 Daytona 500 winner Derrike Cope even quickly turned it into a sponsor plug for Charlie's Soap. (Because of course.)

"42 weeks of subsequent terrible nightmares have been brought to you by Charlie's Soap."

NOOOOOOOOOPE.
