Nissan's LMP1 Development Appears To Have Gone Backwards
Nissan's LMP1 Development Appears To Have Gone Backwards-February 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:43

Nissan is skipping the first couple races of the World Endurance Championship season to continue development of the GT-R LM Nismo and focus on . From the looks of things, they've scrapped the for something a bit simpler and more human.

Alternately, this could be a clever ruse to throw all of their future opponents at the 6 Hours of Silverstone off. Look at this fanciful human-powered machine, and pay no attention to what we're doing over here.

Nissan won't be competing in the 6 Hours of Silverstone this weekend, but they did bring a

couple show cars of their Le Mans racers for the fans anyway.

One of these show cars is in a lovely, festive Easter-egg blue. Never mind that Easter was last week. According to , the blue livery is for the Manchester City FC soccer team.

Looks great, even if it's just for show.

François Cevert, Watkins Glen, And The Myths Of Dead Heroes
Watkins Glen International existed in my imagination long before I ever saw it in person, so tangible that I could transport myself there just by closing my eyes. It had that faint sepia tinge in my brain, like it was perpetually golden hour in upstate New York, because of...
