Rally Drivers’ Reaction To A Surprise Win Is Priceless
Rally Drivers’ Reaction To A Surprise Win Is Priceless-December 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:37

As , sincere effort and hard work doesn’t always lead to the top spot on the podium. When this WRC driver finally got there this past weekend, his emotions showed nothing but pure grace and satisfaction.

After crashing out on one of the final stretches of the last stage at the World Rally Championship’s Rally de España this past weekend, Volkswagen Motorsport’s Sebastian Ogier basically handed the overall rally win over to fellow Volkswagen driver Andreas Mikkelsen and co-driver Ola Floene. Mikkelsen was quoted by saying:

It’s like a weight gone from my shoulders. Now I’ve done it, it should be easier to do it again. It has been a long ride and not good all the way, through many good and bad stories. We’ve been working hard for a long time so of course it’s emotional,

Man, I hope that if I were to have just won my first international rally that I would have a similar reaction. Congratulations to these guys.
