If you want a practical old sports sedan, preferably with rear-wheel drive, your car search will take you first to BMW and then probably no where else because you have already gone ahead and bought an E30. But now, take a look at this brick of a Volvo and tell me you don’t feel a pang of doubt.

This is Nate Tennis of Dirtfish Rally School wheeling this at the Oregon Trail Rally over the weekend. I love that it’s not even a typical Volvo 240 but a 940, the later one that nobody outside of Sweden and Norway thinks of for going fast and sideways.

But here it is, fast and loose all the same. These cars are still and now I’m on Craigslist and this isn’t healthy and it’s time for me to stop.
