If you had a few thousand dollars burning a hole in your pocket and wanted a unique car with low miles you just missed your chance with this incredible recent listing.

The Infiniti brand has seen better days. Once an interesting Japanese luxury brand that competed with the likes of Lexus and Audi, the current lineup of vehicles shows just how much the brand is a shell of it’s former self. Infiniti used to sell unique products like the first generation M45, curvy J30, legendary G35 and most unique of all, a proper flagship in the Q45, the basis for this car.

A proper drivers luxury sedan, this Q45 is actually a Touring model and wears the Q45t badge. Being such a special touring model meant it automatically received electronically adjusted performance suspension, 17-inch wheels, sport steering wheel and blacked-out headlights and grille. Power came from Nissan’s VH41DE 4.1-liter V8 with 267 horsepower. That’s all in addition to all the cushy luxury features like leather seats and a Bose audio system.

This low-milage bright orange, second-generation Q45 listing on Cars & Bids is the first Infiniti I’ve seen a long time that I got excited about. Its the perfect combo of something you don’t really see anymore and fairly solid quality. Aftermarket turner Stillen got their hands on this Q45t and turned it into something even more as the company’s demo vehicle.

The listing says the original car was black and Stillen made the wise decision to paint the exterior this fantastic shade of orange. From there it added 17-inch MOMO wheels, a body kit and rear wing, aftermarket exhaust, and slotted front brake rotors with aftermarket calipers. Sadly, no kind of enhancement was done to the engine. The cherry on top of this tuner sundae is that this Q45 has just 10,300 miles on it; impressive for a 26-year-old car. Materials included with the car show it used to be used in Stillen and Nissan catalogs showcasing the modifications.

Not everything is perfect though. There’s some scratches and chips on the front bumper and air dam, some parts of the leather-covered interior are creased or worn and some corrosion on some underbody bits.

Sadly, I stumbled onto this listing at the last minute. When I came across it there was less than 2 hours left on the auction and the price sat at $5,300. Some who wanted this thing as much as did must have been biding their time as a bidding war ensued in the last minutes of the auction. The price rose over $5,000 in less than 20 minutes and when the auction ended the lucky winning bid was $11,000.

While some may think that may be too much to pay for a 26-year-old Infiniti, I think it’s just the right price for something cool and unique looking. Especially since you don’t really see these things on the street anymore.
