The live racing schedule is a lot lighter this weekend, so your DVRs are all safe from overflowing for the time being. But there’s still plenty of diversity on the schedule, with stock cars, bikes and open-wheel racing.

The Verizon IndyCar Series is in Canada for the weekend, running on the streets of Toronto. The street race follows Josef Newgarden’s win in Iowa, which came just about a month after the driver in a wreck during the rain-postponed Texas Motor Speedway event in June.

NASCAR will be without its fan favorite—and perhaps some viewers—in New Hampshire over the weekend, as Dale Earnhardt Jr. . Alex Bowman will take over for him this weekend, and word is that just about eight months after his retirement if Earnhardt isn’t cleared to race next weekend.

A retired Gordon in the No. 88. It doesn’t get much stranger than that.

The MotoGP World Championship is in Germany this weekend, and it’ll be live on beIN during the early hours of Saturday and Sunday morning. There will also be a stream of the UK Formula Student event on both Saturday and Sunday, in which engineering students take their single-seater race cars out on Silverstone Circuit. If you’re into tape-delayed coverage, there’s also a bit of that.
