Weekend Motorsports Roundup, June 1-2, 2013
Weekend Motorsports Roundup, June 1-2, 2013-June 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:50

Welcome to the Jalopnik Weekend Motorsports Roundup, where we let you know what’s going on in the world of racing, where you can see it, and where you can talk about it all in one convenient place. Where else would you want to spend your weekend?

Last weekend was perhaps the flashiest in all of motorsports, what with the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indy 500 going on. This weekend brings the racing back down to earth, however back down to earth driving a German touring car through Austria or piloting a screaming bike through Italy can be.

Yes, there's DTM and MotoGP, but there's also the Rolex Sports Car series (and IndyCar!) travelling through the streets of Detroit and NASCAR in Delaware if the Stars-and-Stripes are more your thing.

Speaking of Indy, this weekend actually brings us a doubleheader for the series in Detroit, with races on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as a doubleheader for AMA Superbike at Road America (it's kinda beginning to sound like baseball, you two). Of course, there's also NASCAR and drag racing.

So even though we don't have the glitz and glamor, we've still got a lot of the good old-fashioned racing glory.

Please use our new-ish (and still fancy-ish) image annotation tool on the map above to show us races we might have missed, where they're being held, and where we can livestream them. Get it while it's good.

All times Eastern.
