The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts its third round of the Chase this weekend at Martinsville Speedway, without two drivers who were among the favorites in the championship hunt— and . Both had engine troubles of all things at the Talladega Superspeedway cutoff race, so they didn’t make the cut from 12 to eight drivers. The Camping World Truck Series will be there as well, and their Chase has been .

Formula One goes south of the Texas border for the Mexican Grand Prix this weekend, just one week after Circuit of The Americas , defending F1 champion Lewis Hamilton took the , Taylor Swift awed a crowd of 80,000 (or so they say), and your very own Jalopnik crew . What a weekend that was!

will stream the MotoGP World Championship from Malaysia and the FIM Superbike World Championship from Qatar on Saturday and Sunday, and this weekend will be the World Superbike Championship’s final race of the season. In addition, NHRA will broadcast on Sunday.
