A trucker in Israel managed to get his rig slung down a mountain and draped into a tunnel entrance like some kind of soggy gummy worm, leaving the cab dangling over a busy road forcing a creative rescue.

It looks like the cab is only being held off the ground by the hinges that allow engine access, which would make sitting in there a terrifying prospect to be sure.

The driver appears pretty shocked and was definitely injured; but at least he's upright. He couldn't quite make it onto the ladder firefighters raised to his position, so a backhoe with a front-loader was finally summoned to reach up and provide a platform for the driver to escape on.

says nobody was killed in the incident. We'll share more when details come to light.
