The IndyCar Twitter Account Is Interested In Cheating In 'Dancing With The Stars' Voting
The IndyCar Twitter Account Is Interested In Cheating In 'Dancing With The Stars' Voting-March 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:29

One of the great injustices of our time is the fact that Canada’s favorite IndyCar-driving son James Hinchcliffe is on this season of , and Canadians can’t vote. Never fear, Land of Delicious Timbits! IndyCar briefly retweeted a less-than-kosher workaround for how you can vote anyway.

You can only vote for your favorite Dancing With The Stars contestants if you reside in the United States, but what’s the fun in that? The Internet is global. The Internet is everywhere. And goodness knows, we know exactly Canadians hate to be left out of online contests and votes.

For a brief period this afternoon, IndyCar’s Twitter presence told everyone outside the US how they can join in the DWTS fun:

For better or for worse, someone over IndyCar’s Twitter account caught this brief #FuckDaPolice-tagged oopsie and un-retweeted these instructions on how to use a VPN service to vote in a US-only web vote.

However, one does not just remove items from the Internet. Screencaps and archives are forever, and this tweet’s already .

Vote early. Vote often. Re-elect the Mayor of Hinchtown—on the dance floor.

Porsche's Unrestricted Le Mans Car Beat A 35-Year-Old Nürburgring Lap Record By Nearly A Minute
The is the kind of delightful vehicular creation that happens when you let engineers run free without having to adhere to strict series regulations. Why Porsche Destroying The All-Time Nürburgring Lap Record By 51.58 Seconds Is Such A Big Deal
It sounds unbelievable for any car to lap the 12.94-mile Nürburgring Nordschleife course in only 5:19.546. The went 51.58 seconds faster than the former overall lap record, with an average speed of 145.3 mph. What’s even weirder, though, is that the last record remained unbeaten for over 35 years, and...
